The Champaran area of Bihar is famous for its non-vegetarian food. Handi Chicken is a very popular dish of champaran people , it is quit spiecy like other dishes of bihar , these meals are very tasty and most of the food in Bihar is spicy.
Anhua chicken is cooked on a low flame of raw clay pot.
Because of the anhua chicken cooked on low flame, the chicken leaves its water, due to which the taste of the spices present in handi (clay pot ) is doubled. Due to hiding, or covering the pot the smell of species does not come out and it remains inside the pot. Because of which chicken get a different flavor, and it is cooked on coal fuel.which is also a reason for its different taste .Anhua chicken is cooked on a low flame of raw clay pot.
Janakpuri of Delhi is also famous for the special handi chicken of Bihar
The species in chicken were used in its raw form not in powdered it was cooked in Saraso (musterd) oil.
The pieces of chicken were very juicy and were well-nourished, garlic was giving a great flavor to the chicken. And at the time of eating , it seemed that the chicken was cooked in the house, it is a very good dish ,in my opinion definitely try it,
